Cobalt is steady, dependable beginner-safe Quarter Horse. Standing at 15.2h with a substantial build, he is a comfortable ride for small children as well as adults over 6’. He walks, trots, and canters undersaddle; understands how to give to the bit and work through his back, move off the leg (leg-yields/side-passes, turn-on-the-forehand, turn-on-the-haunches). Same horse out on the trails as he is in the arena. Great alone on trails or with other horses. Unfazed by cars, dogs, airplanes, or changes in the weather. He’s been an excellent lesson horse for my beginner and intermediate students.
