Trail Class - judges the rider based on how well they are able to help the horse maneuver through obstacles encountered on a trail (opening and closing gates, crossing 'water', stepping over logs, etc)
Ride a Buck - ride bareback (or with a saddle depending on the level of the rider) and try to keep the most "bucks" (paper under the rider's seat and legs)
Equitation (on the flat)- judges the rider's position, correct use of the aids, and effectiveness
Equitation over fences - judges the rider's position, correct use of the aids, and effectiveness over fences. Includes preparation for jumps and rider's ability to maintain a steady tempo on the horse with sufficient energy in good balance.
Maze Jump course - Think quick! Riders design their own course over all the arranged jumps. Fastest time wins.
Dressage (test of choice) - Series of movements are judged, based on accuracy, harmony between horse and rider, rider's effectiveness, rider's position, horse's cooperativeness with the rider, and horse's gaits and impulsion.
Mystery Class - a fun surprise which will be announced the day of the show
