Serendipity Pony Camp is available to all students at Serendipity Stables ages 5-17. Students will learn about horse care, psychology, health, and different breeds and disciplines. Mounted instruction will be geared towards dressage and jumping. Students may bring their own music and will learn how to choreograph to create musical freestyle (design their own pattern to match the music). During lunch break students will get to do some craft projects, including painting instruction by Artist, Emily McIntosh. Students will also get to organize a show on Saturday, which will include designing jump courses, organizing ride times, and creating a show packet for the audience (parents).
Students should bring their lunch, and dress appropriately for riding (riding breeches, heeled boots, and helmet). Students should be dropped off at 8:00 AM and picked up at 5:00 in the evening each day.
$275 for the week
Reserve your spot by emailing Emily at mciemily13@gmail.com. Reservations must be made by July 12th. Limited spots available so reserve soon.

Madison, was the youngest rider at the show at 5 years old, and earned a 63% on Sultan. If she were competing against the adults in her class she would have tied for 1st!

This was Kierstin's first show to ride her very own horse Salisbury. She had two beautiful rides at Intro and tied for 2nd in her class (against a rider twice her age) with an impressive score of 72%.
Bailey showed Figaro at Intro C, Figaro's first dressage show, had a great ride with excellent impulsion, and earned a 72%, only 1% from 1st place.
Mary won her class, with her best ride yet at Training level on Sultan.
Elisabeth and Wolfgang won both Training 1 and 2 with a 72 and 75%.
I (Emily) had a great ride on Wolfgang also, and won First level test 3, with 76%, earning a "10" on "Harmony between horse and rider"

July 14th - Rojas Ranch Dressage Show- Canceled because of heat
Great Day at Rojas Ranch

Mary did a fantastic job at her first show. She had two beautiful rides on Sultan, placed 1st and 2nd in her classes, and was the highest scoring Junior (rider under 18) of the day.
Barnabe (4 yo Swedish/Arab) did excellent for his first time being ridden in a new place with only a month of dressage training. He did a very respectable job, no spooks or silliness. It will be fun to see his progress as he gains strength and balance.
(Photo: Mary and Sultan)
This was also Zahaila's (4 yo Trakehner) first show. She won both her classes and earned the highest score of the day.
